The Xilinx® Kintex® UltraScale™ FPGAs are available in -3, -2, -1, and -1L speed grades, with -3 having the highest performance. The -1L devices can operate at either of two VCCINT voltages, 0.95V and 0.90V and are screened for lower maximum static power. When operated at VCCINT = 0.95V, the speed specification of a -1L device is the same as the -1 speed grade. When operated at VCCINT = 0.90V, the -1L performance and static and dynamic power is reduced.

UltraScale and UltraScale+ families provide footprint compatibility to enable users to migrate designs from one device or family to another. Any two packages with the same footprint identifier code are footprint compatible. For example, Kintex UltraScale devices in the A1156 packages are footprint compatible with Kintex UltraScale+ devices in the A1156 packages. Likewise, Virtex UltraScale devices in the B2104 packages are compatible with Virtex UltraScale+ devices and Kintex UltraScale devices in the B2104 packages.
